SMS Opt-In Consent
Effective July 4, 2026
MyNORA obtains express written consent before sending recruiting-related text messages to candidates. This page describes how that opt-in is captured, what candidates can expect, and how they can stop messages at any time.
Opt-In Workflow
Applicants complete an online employment application and actively select an SMS consent checkbox before submitting. The consent language clearly identifies the organization, explains the types of recruiting messages that may be sent, notes that message and data rates may apply, states that consent is not a condition of employment, and provides STOP and HELP instructions. Consent is recorded with the application and stored for audit purposes.
Message Types
- Application status updates and next-step notifications
- Interview scheduling, confirmations, reminders, and reschedules
- Recruiter follow-ups and requests for additional information
- Offer, onboarding, and pre-employment coordination messages
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on the candidate's stage in the hiring process. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of employment.
