What happens next

After you apply — here's what to expect.

You should never wonder what's happening. Here's the real timeline from the moment you hit Apply to the day you start on the floor.

1. We confirm we got it

You'll get an email and (if you shared a number) a text within minutes confirming your application arrived. If you don't see it, check your spam folder — messages from MyNORA sometimes land there the first time.

2. A recruiter reviews your file

A real person on our recruitment team looks at your resume, experience, and Discover activity within 1–2 business days. NORA helps prioritize, but a human always decides who to reach out to.

3. Quick introduction call

If the fit looks right, a recruiter reaches out to introduce themselves, answer your questions, and confirm the basics — shift, transportation, start date, and what a Helping Hand role looks like at that facility.

4. Interview scheduled with your approval

Once you're comfortable, the recruiter proposes interview times. Nothing is confirmed until you agree. You'll get a calendar invite and clear directions before you go — don't come to the facility until you've received a confirmation.

5. Stay in the loop

You can message NORA anytime to check status, reschedule, or ask a question. Your recruiter is copied on everything. No black-box waiting — you always know where you stand.

Typical timeline

Most candidates hear from a recruiter within 1–2 business days. From application to first day on the floor is usually 1–3 weeks, depending on your availability and the facility's start-date needs.

Haven't heard back?

If it's been more than 3 business days, ping NORA — she can nudge your recruiter or share where your application is in review. You are never forgotten in a queue.
